Ph.D. Student
Martina M. Sanchez is a Bioengineering Ph.D. candidate in the TIME (Tissue, Injury, and Mortality Engineering) lab at the University of California, Riverside. Her current research focuses are building simple & robust self-assembled vascularized human tissue models to model aging, healing, and chronic diseases. She earned her undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from Wichita State University in Kansas and also holds a master's in bioengineering from the University of California, Riverside, CA. Martina joined Sci Com UCR in 2020 and is also active in other organizations on campus.
