SciComm@UCR is excited to announce a free, 10-week workshop: "Artistic Expression of Original Research" (AEOR).
AEOR is a free workshop for graduate students in the sciences to learn how to express their original scientific findings artistically. This workshop will last 10 weeks with each week representing a different art form/medium from an expert artist.
Each workshop will be 1-hour long and will provide students with some practical/technical skills they can use right away for their own pieces. There will be optional friendship hours offered for brainstorm and working together on individual's pieces. The final pieces of the participants will be presented in an art show in the Spring (2023).
This workshop will take place during the UCR 2023 Winter quarter (Jan 10 - Mar 14, 2023) on Tuesdays from 5-6pm.
